This past week we packed up the studio and headed to Titusville to take pictures of this cutie. She was two weeks old and a perfect baby. She didn't sleep at all for me, but even being wide awake she made my job easy.

On Saturday we headed over to a beautiful piece of property to photograph Jenny and Kevin. They were naturals and looked so good together. I'm looking forward to your special day in October!

I have been taking pictures of Luiza since she was a newborn and now she is almost 2. Wow, it is amazing how time flies. This time she has a brand new sister, Julia. They are two beautiful little girls.

On Sunday evening we drove up to Palm Coast to meet the McGhee Family. They are from St. Louis here on vacation. As you can see the evening was beautiful. This was the first time the little girl has ever seen the ocean and she was mesmerized by it. They were both much more interested in the sand, water, and shells than taking photos, but we ended up getting some incredible shots.

This past week my sister-in-law was in town and I did a mini photo session with my two little models. There is a great little park right by my house that I love to go to for a quick session. Trinity is 5 and Emma is 7 months.

Last Friday night my three cousins came over for a photo shoot. They have been wanting to get pictures for some time as a surprise for their mom. We finally got a date that worked and made it happen. We had a good time hanging out and went out for pizza afterwards!

On July 3rd I had the chance to photograph the Ehlinger family as they were on vacation all the way from Minnesota. We took a trip to Cape Canaveral, this beach is one of my favorites. The family did a great job, they are naturals.

On June 8th my husband and I went to Brasil on a week long church mission trip. During this time I also had an opportunity to do photos for some friends. It was a great time... these two couples did not need any instructions, they were so beautiful and photogenic!

Last Sunday I did a very special newborn photo shoot. My little sister's baby boy. As I mentioned before I was there for his birth and was able to capture some amazing moments. On April 24th I was blessed to witness the miracle of the birth of my nephew. It was an amazing time filled with many emotions. Here he is, one day old....he is beautiful. It was a new experience for me doing birth photography but it is one that I would do again.

Jeff and Camille got married this past Saturday May 3rd. It was a beautiful day for a wedding on New Smyrna Beach, and I had so much fun doing this wedding. Jeff and Camille made a beautiful couple. Little Jonathan Silas is a miracle baby, he was born four months early and spent the first four months of his life in the NICU. But he has pulled through and he is home and doing well. At five months old these are his first professional pictures. I was honored to be able to capture the miracle of his life.

Last month I had the chance to photograph this little guy again. You may remember him...he was my model back when I first got my studio light set. He was only a few weeks old then. He is the son of my photographer friend Mike Buoy, so I know they don't need any pictures of him but he was too cute so I had to snap some! After quite a few smiles he fell asleep on his momma.

The last few months have been busy. The beginning of February the team of photographers that I work with had a Photo Skills Day. It was very rewarding to learn new skills and to sharpen the skills we already have. Especially with the upcoming busy wedding season. Below is a picture of us trying to photograph the same couple! 2007 Already! Where has the time gone? I can't believe it has been almost two months since I updated this. Life has been a whirlwind. Took a long road trip to PA with my Dad to spend Christmas with all the family there. It was so nice to have some colder weather for a change. Then spent New Years back here with my sister and her husband and then a few days later took another road trip to SC for our church staff retreat. And in between all of that.....photo shoots! I helped with three weddings and did about eight families. Below are some of the images from the past months.

I just got finished from a three day photo shoot at the Janie and Jack store at the Mall at Millenia. I was hired by Precious Time Photography to be the in-store photographer for a promotional. It was so wonderful to be doing what I love to do. I got to take pictures of some of the cutest kids out there. I was worn out after the three days....I'm still recovering! :o) But it was so worth it! Here are some of my favorites:

Panama City Florida - Ironman November 4th
What an AMAZING week we had with some amazing friends! My husband and I drove to Panama City to support and cheer on our close friend Jason Cannon as he competed in the Ironman. He finished with a time of 11:28. For those of you who don't know what an Ironman is, to put it in simple words, it is beating your body and making it your slave! (I Corinthians 9:27) It consists of a 2.4 mile ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride and then a 26.2 mile run. To experience the Ironman is truly inspiring. The best part....Jason wanted us all to run the finish line shute with him. He said he couldn't have finished this race without his support crew. So when we saw him come around the turn we all joined him in runnning across the finish line! The time away was much needed and some great memories were made!

Jason and Me......you will be hearing a lot about him in the blogs to come....this is who taught me so much about photography and has inspired me to pursue this dream. He not only finished the Ironman but he is also an amazing photographer.

Beautiful Hailey - October 29
What a fun day...... 2 year old Hailey kept me busy! She was such a joyful little girl and so much fun to take pictures of. By the end of the photo shoot she was taking my hand and walking with me.....I love it when a kid will warm up to me. It's my goal to become their friend and make sure they have a fun time!

Discovery Pointe Children's Pictures - October 29th

Jarrod and Courney's wedding - October 28th

Last weekend Jason Cannon had a wedding in Daytona Beach, I went along to be his assistent. It was a long day, 11am until midnight.....but this is the way I enjoy spending a day! And even though I was kept very busy assisting Jason...I did have a few chances to take pictures of the cute little flower girls.

And I couldn't resist this little boy....a photographer in the making.

Felix and Carmen's Wedding - October 21st

My neighbor's father was getting married so they asked me to photograph the wedding. It was a small wedding and we had a great time. The best part....they had salsa dancing! They even allowed me to put my camera down for one dance!

And the highlight of the wedding was taking pictures of this little boy, Oscar. This is one of many! He was shy at first, hiding his face....but after a little while he was all smiles.

Photo Light Shoot
A couple months ago I ordered some studio lighting and last Sunday I had a chance to try it out and I'm amazed at the pictures! My friend and fellow photographer, Mike Buoy, spent an afternoon with me helping me to perfect the off camera flash. The results....see for yourself. Beautiful Beach Wedding
Last Friday I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding with my good friend and amazing photographer, Jason Cannon. Beach weddings truly are the best......where else can you find such an incredible background?

And while Jason was off doing all the formals.....I was photographing what I love the best....children. These two flowergirls were so cute and didn't mind the camera at all!

I am finally getting around to starting a photo blog. This will give me the opportunity to share some of my favorite pictures that I take and also allow you to make the journey with me as I live my dream of photography.

Baby Luiza
I had the amazing opportunity to photograph our good friends one month old baby on Sunday. I had a great time and she was a good little model....I think I'll keep her around for more photo shoots.

On Friday night we headed over to Winter Park and I took some engagment pictures of friends that are getting married in December. It was a beautiful evening with a beautiful sunset.

And a week ago we also spent an evening in Winter Park taking pictures of some of my favorite people.
